At MW Hoods The Hood Pro's LLC We have been residents of Brevard for over 30 years.
We are a professional Florida based Hood, Fan, Duct and Filter Cleaning company that makes sure that your Kitchen exhaust system is cleaned from the fan to the floor. We come out and make sure you are educated on the complete hood system and check to
see if those fake company's have cleaned your hood properly. We will take before and after pictures upon request to be sure that you see the work we do from start to finish. And another thing, there won't be a mess left behind and your kitchen exhaust system will NEVER have a FIRE when we leave. We look for those hidden areas and remove the grease. If you are going to pay to have your kitchen exhaust system cleaned, its better to have it cleaned properly and not have to worry about a fire hazard.
The most important question to ask when evaluating your kitchen exhaust system service is: Are you getting your entire system cleaned? Many restaurant owners and facility managers think they are getting their entire system cleaned only to find out they have been merely receiving a hood "washing" service. Let's face it, this is an out of sight, out of mind type of job which is difficult to check. But it is one that could spell danger or even disaster for your facility, your staff and your reputation.
Our hood, duct and fan cleaning thoroughly cleans the system down to bare metal versus simply cleaning the hood, which looks clean to the eye. We pay careful attention to the inner workings of the system, ensuring the entire system is clean. We are also a professional service that meets and exceeds the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standards. We do an entire inspection to make sure that your system has been CLEANED PROPERLY and has the proper instalations of materials to clean properly. We DO NOT JUST RAG AND TAG.
The Hood Pro's use The DRIPLOC Rack System that has the custom manufactured filter (aka "pillow") inside the rack. The rack has a built in drain that allows water to pass through the system at a high volume. During cleanings, hood cleaners are encouraged to keep the old filter in the rack system in place while "washing the dirty water and grease through the old filter" while cleaning and before installing a new filter, which helps prevent a dirty mess and EPA violations.
During installation only, the Rack System is usually screwed
into the vent or curb under the drain spout for the exhaust fan. After the initial installation of the rack, only the pillow (filter) needs to be replaced during regular scheduled hood cleanings depending on the volume of the restaurant. The pillows are inexpensive making this option one to consider for your restaurants.
The replacement pillow is packaged in a plastic sack. DRIPLOC recommends placing the old filter in the plastic sack to make the replacement as clean and easy as possible.
For extreme volume fans, DRIPLOC has custom manufactured the "Double Deep Rack System" which has twice the absorption capacity as the original DRIPLOC Rack System. Customers are encouraged to purchase the original Rack System first. If the volume of the grease exceeds the original Rack System, DRIPLOC will send you a "Double Deep Rack System.
Install Access Panels
We can install access panels for ducts that are horizantal or have bends and turns in them to properly clean them to prevent fires.
We can replace defective fan belts as preventive maintenance.
The fan is easier to clean and safe from damage with our hinge kits.
NFPA Code 2003 7.8.2.1 requires that all up-blast fans have hinges. The fan at the end of your hood ductwork is easily damaged when removed for ductwork cleaning, it can spin on the ground from the water pressure, pull electrical wiring out of place. We treat your fan with care to avoid problems. The Hood Pro's recommend installing our hinge kits. The fan is easier to clean and safe from damage.
